The Black Student Achievement Plan (BSAP) was approved by the LAUSD Board of Education to address the longstanding disparities in educational outcomes between Black students and their non-Black peers.

Educate California is a "BSAP Approved" vendor that provides services to help LAUSD schools achieve the following Success Indicators:

1. Engagement - Increase levels of parent and family engagement, and

2. Academic Achievement - Increase number of students on track in A-G requirements.

Our LifePrep Academy program provides college, career, academic-planning, and family-engagement services aligned with LAUSD Black Student Achievement Plan objectives, with particular emphasis on improving outcomes for Black students. Consistent with LAUSD’s inclusive implementation of BSAP, program services may also be available to other participating students, including low-income and historically underserved Latino students.
